Romantic Rustic Barn Wedding in Ireland
Romantic Rustic Barn
A barn wedding with great food, lots of drink and a great band is what Kate and Billy wanted. It didn’t take us long to place them into the Grainstore at Kilruddery House. Rustic but elegant and romantic with the barn, great grounds and a stunning main house it was the obvious choice for their early autumn wedding.
Kate and Billy were married at St Marys’s Church, Enniskerry where after a traditional ceremony the sun came out so the guests could follow our couple walking into the village pub for a few drinks. After all of the congratulations, a little food and a few drinks there, the bridal party were swept off for photos on the stunning grounds and Orangerie of their breath-taking reception venue Kilruddery House.
Their wedding was a true celebration of family with images of Kate, Billy and their loved ones dotted throughout the grain store during their reception. We made a table plan display out of an old wood palette where an Irish Blessing was placed beside a map of New York which read “Life is an Adventure”.
There was such fun, loving energy at this wedding. Note the Funfetti cake! Kate and Billy really captured the essence of natural and rustic with bales of hay and all!
Kate looked amazing in her romantic dress and was able to dance the night away comfortably in her Toms shoes while Billy opted for a classic charcoal suit with a white shirt and ivory tie. They looked gorgeous. They ARE gorgeous!
A great day was had by all and I need to thank Adele Miley Makeup, Camilia with Austen Florists, The Cake Café, and especially thanks so much to the brilliant David McElland Photography for {hanging out with me at dinner and} sharing the beautiful images with us today!
