Langton’s Hotel, Kilkenny

Looking back at Kam and Ryan’s destination wedding at Langton’s Hotel in Kilkenny, I am instantly reminded of how fun and vibrant this couple truly is. Traveling all the way from Virginia, USA, they brought over a hundred guests to celebrate with them in Ireland.

A Relaxed Destination Wedding Experience

When planning an international wedding, the guest experience is everything. Kam and Ryan’s main goal was to host a relaxed, joyous event that prioritized spending quality time together with their friends and family.

Exploring Langton’s Hotel and Historic Kilkenny

We took full advantage of the incredible spaces Langton’s has to offer, utilizing nearly every corner of the property. The timeline flowed beautifully:

  • The Ceremony: Hosted in the uniquely atmospheric Set Theatre.
  • Cocktail Hour: Drinks and canapés served on the hotel property.
  • Wedding Portraits: The wedding party headed out into the city for a mix of vibrant urban shots and classic portraits at Kilkenny Castle as well as some shots in front of Bridie’s bar.
  • Dinner & Dancing: The evening concluded back in Langton’s stunning Art Deco Ballroom.

Soft Styling & Exceptional Kilkenny Vendors

Stylistically, the wedding featured a romantic, elegant palette of soft blues and pale pinks. Bringing this vision to life required a fantastic team of local wedding professionals.
