I normally try to report a bit from New York Bridal Week. I’m a wee bit late this year but wanted to show a few features because it is everything about bridal style.
One look that featured this year is a style that we’ve seen on the catwalks so of course, it was a natural progression into wedding gowns.
It’s Peplum gowns.
What is a Peplum you ask? Well, you know then when you see them but the description is pretty much a short flared piece of fabric attached to the waist of a woman’s jacket, blouse or dress. It’s a great look for accentuating a waist. Whether you have a tiny waist or not a peplum will make one for you by flaring out from the waist.
Here are some of my favourite wedding gowns with this feature.

All are beautiful and I love how they are mixing the fabrics and skirts.
