I normally try to report a bit from New York Bridal week. I’m a wee bit late this year but wanted to show a few features because it is everything about bridal style.
One look that featured this year is a style that we’ve seen on the catwalks so of course it was a natural progression into wedding gowns.
It’s Peplum gowns.
What is a Peplum you ask? Well you know then when you see them but the description is pretty much a short flared piece of fabric attached to the waist of a woman’s jacket, blouse or dress. It’s a great look for accentuating a waist. Whether you have a tiny waist or not a peplum will make one for you by flaring out from the waist.
Here are some of my favorite wedding gowns with this feature.
Pretty in Pink by Angel Sanchez 2014
All are beautiful and I love how they are mixing the fabrics and the skirts.
Is this your bridal style??
