Room Service Home

Thursday, September 30th, 2010

Honestly, if I had all of the money in the world I’d still be broke! I keep coming upon these great websites and just want everything!

Today in my quest for photos for a totally different post I came across Room Service Home and fell in love. They have beautiful things for home, things for my office {my new thing is buying for my office} and things for weddings. So the bottom line is that post I was going to do is scrapped so I can linger over these lovelies.

I’m always looking for beautiful beverage dispensers and Room Service home has plenty.

Love this one!

Beach wedding accessories anyone? or just lucky enough to have a beach house….

I love these hurricanes. They are filled with shells here but you can fill them with whatever you like! Flowers, petals, Christmas bulbs, colored water, anything you can think of!

And here are a few other fun things..

These are simply beautiful!

These would fit in great with the right theme!

Just loads of loveliness! did you find anything you had been looking for? Find anything you have to have??

A Dingle Potter – Sinead Lough

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

Today I’m putting together a few details and things to do around Dingle for a bride of mine and realized I was neglecting what I have here in my own area. There is really so much to do and see that I promise to post more about Dingle and the great suppliers and artists we have here in future.

Today I want to show off a local ceramic artist {a Criadoir in Irish} and potter because I think you will love her work. Sinead Lough, makes hand thrown functional pottery and other decorative items. All of the pieces are made in small/limited edition quantities and no two pieces are exactly the same.

I think they are so sweet and decorative. A must for a country kitchen.

Sinead finds that she is making quite a few wedding gifts lately. Large bowls with a personal inscription on the base. She can write names, dates and the message of your choice – a couple of examples are shown below – the message shown reads ‘a long and happy life’

View more on her website and see who stocks her pottery on her website here.

And I love the little photos she has of her workshop and location. Adorable. Exactly what you would expect from Dingle and an Irish Potter!
