Room Service Home

Thursday, September 30th, 2010

Honestly, if I had all of the money in the world I’d still be broke! I keep coming upon these great websites and just want everything!

Today in my quest for photos for a totally different post I came across Room Service Home and fell in love. They have beautiful things for home, things for my office {my new thing is buying for my office} and things for weddings. So the bottom line is that post I was going to do is scrapped so I can linger over these lovelies.

I’m always looking for beautiful beverage dispensers and Room Service home has plenty.

Love this one!

Beach wedding accessories anyone? or just lucky enough to have a beach house….

I love these hurricanes. They are filled with shells here but you can fill them with whatever you like! Flowers, petals, Christmas bulbs, colored water, anything you can think of!

And here are a few other fun things..

These are simply beautiful!

These would fit in great with the right theme!

Just loads of loveliness! did you find anything you had been looking for? Find anything you have to have??

Rainy Day Weddings

Wednesday, September 15th, 2010

T he weather has certainly changed and it is time to snuggle up and prepare for winter. Or at least the rain.

If it rains on your wedding don’t worry. If you are planning a wedding anytime in Ireland you have to prepare for rain. A good brolly for in and out of the church and photos and you’ll be fine.

Here are some fun and pretty ones all from Brollies Galore.

Here comes the Bridal Brollie:

Not your basic black:

Clearly good fun!:

Add a bit of color to brighten up the day:

A little bit of Vintage:

A bit of bright and sparkly:

And I must say I thought they were very reasonable!

So don’t get down if it rains on your wedding day! Look how bright and cheerful you can make it!

Twigs & Honey

Friday, August 27th, 2010

Veils, headpieces and headbands are getting very creative these days. So feminine and vintagey and lovely. I wish I knew I had these options when I got married because I didn’t want to wear a veil {just not me} or a tiara {sooooo not me}.

These lovelies are from Twigs & Honey and if they had been around on my turn how happy I would have been!

The Twigs & Honey line features hair adornments, headbands, birdcage veils, traditional veils, bridal jewelry, belts, boutonnieres, ring pillows, hats, shrugs, bouquets, corsages, and {oh my gosh!} more! The line uses fine silks, feathers, laces, and vintage bits that result in completely unique adornments.  Myra Callan makes them and experiments with materials, color ways, and methods to develop fresh and ever-changing designs. Fabulous.

Where will you use them?

Headbands

Headpieces

Birdcage Veils

Floral Jewelry

I love this. So delicate.

And these boutineers. You can save them after the wedding!

Myra also has great inspiration and gorgeousness on her blog which you can see here and you must see her Etsy shop too. Of course she is on Etsy! Go straight there here.
