Kerry and Brian initially came to me wanting to elope to Ireland and we set a plan in motion until quite a few of their family expressed real interest in being there. Moving forward the plan didn’t actually change with the families attending. With a destination church wedding at Gougane Barra in Co Cork planned, it just made sense to have the family there with them to celebrate in all of the beauty with a simple but meaningful ceremony, taking in the scenery followed by dinner and drinks in Glengarriff.
Egle from White Cat Studios was there to capture it all as the day beautifully came together in the sunshine of west Cork.
Kerry’s purple bouquet was beautiful with Brian’s pruple kilt.
The girls spent a lovely morning all getting their hair done in a local salon before going back to the hotel for makeup and getting ready.
Kerry and Brian decided to take some time to themselves before the ceremony so were ready, they met up for an emotional first look in the village.
The group were taken to the stunningly picturesque St Fionnbarr’s church in Gougane Barra where they were greeted by a Scottish Piper as they took their seats and waited the bride’s arrival.
Before dinner there was time to stop for a drink and a dance
And also to take a phot0 with their beloved puppy who sadly, had to be left at home. 🙁
Congratulations to Kerry and Brian and thank you so much for letting me be part of your most special day!
