It is no secret that I love small intimate weddings and exclusive use venues.

As I am happily researching venues for a few different couples at the moment, I thought I would show you a few {because there are so many} of the wonderful locations around the country that I have found. They are a nicely off the beaten track for privacy and pure luxury

The first is

Hilton Park Co Monaghan

Luxury accommodation and an Irish cultural experience in this wonderful country house amongst paintings, furniture and heirlooms handed down over the centuries. Hilton House is indulgent relaxation for anyone who stays there.

Much more than just a hotel or a guesthouse it is a grand country house offering luxury accommodation and real home grown country house cooking.  A real family home magically situated on a 600 acre secluded private estate far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Clonlais House Co Roscommon

I fell in love with this one. A Victorian Italianate style. Clonalis House has been sensitively restored over the last decade is an elegant house with a large collection of family portraits, telling a unique and interesting story.

B&B and self catering with dining opportunities for 25 guests.

Castle Ward Co Down

Castle Ward is an event location only. There is no accommodation but imagine having this grand mansion available to you and your guests for your wedding ceremony and reception.

Situated in a stunning location overlooking Strangford Lough, the lawns rise up to the unique 18th century house and its Gothic façade. This fascinating house features Gothic and Classical styles of architectural treatment, internally and externally.

There is a beautiful 820 acre walled demesne where you will find an exotic sunken garden and paths that wind their way through woodland and suddenly open onto the quiet shores of the Lough.

No accommodation but you can have your reception for up to 55 guests in the house.
