This is just the second in my posts about flower trends. In the first I showed you a selection of different succulents with some bouquets, centre pieces and buttonholes they were used in. Today I’m going to show you Ranunculus. Another one of those ‘wha?’ names but you will recognize the flower if you use the internet for wedding inspiration as they have become quite popular.
How gorgeous are they with their layers and layers of petals!
Also sometimes called a Persian Buttercup, these romantic {and I think a bit quirky} little lovelies come in the most fabulous colors. From whites to yellows and oranges to purples and even different tones/colors on the same flower. Ranunculus are the perfect flower for any color scheme and especially so if you like the fresh picked flower look. Don’t get too excited though it’s a real late winter to springtime flower so check availability with your florist.

And this wedding shoot via Style Me Pretty is just sweet, romantic and a bit flirty.
And again, the range of colors is fantastic
I think I really like them and they are going on my list of fave flowers next to peonies and hydrangeas.
