As you know I love photographers and their art and I love Ireland {thankfully as I do live here} and Castles {who doesn’t?} so was delighted when I recently came across Heather Windsor’s blog.
Heather is a photographer in Oshawa, Ontario specializing in fine art wedding and portrait photography and she recently took her first trip abroad and came to Ireland. What I found on her blog is a pictorial of her trip along with some commentary on Guinness {Heather no likey}, driving on the wrong side of the road, and roundabouts! In any case, I thought the photos were beautiful and am delighted that she has agreed to let me share her perspective of Ireland as a wedding photographer.
So her first post is her arrival in Dublin and let’s see what she thought of our fair capital city…………
The GPO Dublin (that’s General Post Office) Very historic building.
Temple Bar, Dublin
Interesting ways for Bridal Parties to get around town
The main shopping street, Grafton Street, Dublin
Heather’s first meeting with Arthur Guinness – Didn’t go so well……….
Heading into the countryside through many, many roundabouts!
See more of Heather’s first days in Ireland and Dublin on her full blog post here and stay tuned as she discovers some of Ireland’s best Castles!
